Three steps to your date

STEP ONE

Check the date

Send the date, the headcount and the venue. I'll call you to talk through the options for your event, or call me now at (801) 500-8215.

STEP TWO

Lock the menu

Pick a package or build your own. I'll tell you when I need final counts and dietary needs. A deposit holds your date.

STEP THREE

We park and cook

We arrive well before service to park and set up. I'll give you the exact time for your venue. We run off our own generator and water.

What people order twice

A ciabatta sandwich with mixed greens, cherry tomato and ranch in a takeaway box

A breakfast burrito cut in half with a cup of salsa

Carnivore Burrito

Elk, sausage, pork, beans, eggs and cheese. The Vallecito Burrito is the same idea, lighter.

The camp soda chalkboard on the trailer: Happy Camper, Mango Rush, Campfire Sip, Camp Cola and Dirty Dr. Pepper

Camp Sodas

Happy Camper, Mango Rush, Camp Cola, Dirty Dr. Pepper, Campfire Sip, Cherry Splash, and old favorites on request. The thing kids remember.

Ate with us?

We are new to the review sites and not pretending otherwise. If you have had a burrito at the window or a plate at a wedding, a few honest words help more than you would guess.

Tell us how it went

Who is cooking

Aimee Strevay, one trailer, no franchise

I feed Vallecito Lake out of this trailer. I run the window, and I'm the one who calls you back.

The four questions everyone asks

All the questions →

Do you need power at the venue?

No. We bring our own generator and park it behind the trailer, away from your guests. If you would rather use the venue's power, tell me and we'll work it out.

How far will you travel?

We cook at venues around Vallecito Lake, Bayfield, Durango, Ignacio and Forest Lakes. I'll go over travel with you when we talk.

How many people can you serve in an hour?

How fast I can serve depends on the menu and your headcount. Tell me your numbers and I'll give you a realistic serving time.

What happens if it rains?

We cook rain or snow. The kitchen is enclosed. Guests need somewhere covered to stand, so we'll help you plan the queue under a tent.
